PKR burst onto the scene in 2006 offering a different kind of online poker experience! Upto this point, all online poker was played in a 2d format, usually looking down on a poker table.

PKR.com revolutionised this by offering a true 3d poker experience!! You sit at a table opposite your opponents, and play in as near a real life experience as possible. There are lots of novelty effects included in the game, such as goading your opponents, making hand gestures and even acting like a chicken.

Beneath all the novelty, there is a very good poker client – make no mistake, this is not just for fun. The poker games available at PKR.com are very decent, and there is broad range of ability at the tables at any one time. It’s tempting to tout the site as being fishy, and it is, but it’s no more fishy than a lot of other sites of the same size.

The higher stakes games attract a good calibre of players, so be aware when you play – as with other poker sites, it’s always worth watching and making notes on players before you stake too much of your bankroll at the table.
