When it comes to the King of Online Poker Rooms, Pokerstars is right up there shouting for it’s place on the throne!

PokerStars made a bold decision some years ago to remain in the US market when the then leader, PartyPoker, played ball and came out.

PokerStars made the most of their new found position as the number one site and marketed aggressively across its global markets. The result was the biggest and busiest poker room in the World at that time, with plenty of fish.

Things have changed slightly recently, with it being forced out the US market – player numbers have dropped, although it remains busy pretty much 24/7 through its massive Pan European database of players.

PokerStars boasts a lovely tournament structure, and features some very popular sit’n'go’s, including the 50:50 tournaments.

It has a good sign up bonus at 100% upto $600 – enough to get any player started. They also feature a nice rewards scheme in place of the normal rakeback offered at other rooms, whereby you can trade your regular player points for cash rewards – there is even a PokerStars shop where you can trade points or clothing, sunglasses, chip sets and even Xbox 360′s.

The software is smooth and reliable. Cash out process is simple. There really isn’t anything not too like about PokerStars – they represent a site that was the best in the World, and we have no doubt they will be back there at some point.
